Authorised Covid-tested Flight Routes


As of Italian Ministry of Health authorised Covid-tested flights by means of a special ordinance, it is possible to operate "Covid-tested" flights to Italy for the airlines.





Which are the flight routes from United States to Italy?


  • Atlanta - Rome Fiumicino 

  • New York - Rome Fiumicino 

  • Atlanta - Milan Malpensa 

  • New York - Milan Malpensa 


Canada, Japan & United Emirates


"Covid-tested flights" are also operational from Canada, Japan and United Arab Emirates at Rome Fiumicino and Milan Malpensa airports.


The same ordinance also allowed trials of "Covid-tested flights" to Naples International Capodichino Airport and Venice International Marco Polo Airport.


What are the special requirements for passengers on Covid-tested flights?


Passengers on flights arriving from international airports from the below-mentioned countries must take a molecular (RT PCR) or antigen swab test upon arrival at the Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa, Naples Capodichino and Venice Marco Polo international airports.
